When I was in college, there was a huge pothole in the parking lot entrance next to my house. We asked the construction workers working behind my house to fix it a few times, but to no avail. So I took matters into my own hands.
I taped a sign that said “FEED ME” to the ground next to the pothole and left it there for a day. Still, nothing happened. So things had to get a bit more extreme.
When the construction workers got to work at 6 AM, they had no idea what they were looking at, and at that point the cereal had been driven over and looked even crazier. I then explained how annoying this pothole was, and they decided to fill it with mulch temporarily, then actually fill it once construction was done.
Unfortunately they finished up after I graduated, but I’m happy knowing the next generation has a smoother parking experience than I had.
